I had always wanted a PDA and in late 2000 Trudy bought me a Palm m100, which transformed my life entirely, even though it was not the hottest thing on the market by then (those of you who know how well my memory works will know exactly what I mean). Every once in a while, I would doodle with the PDA's paint feature or let others doodle and that was my entry into the world of black-and-white palm art.
Things changed since then; in 2002 I got a Sony Clié PEG-SL10 and in 2003 I opted for the colour Sony Clié PEG-SJ22 that I have now. Some things, however, never change, and the incredible fun one could have with limited-size, one-colour doodles never went away. Well, without further ado, I give you palm art.

Angie's Kitty DerekOh yeah, and in case you're wondering how the hell I got the images out of my Clié, I used HRCaptDA, a PalmOS Desk Accessory which requires the DA Launcher hack and the X-Master hack manager.
Essentially, this is a screen-capture software for the PDA that allows one to snap screenshots, downloadable as .pdb files, by tapping in a predefined area. Those .pdb files can then later be converted to bitmaps with HRCaptDA's ToBMP utility (included). What a pain in the arse, eh? PictureGear 4.6 Lite, you can suck my balls.

Then there shall be more! If my PDA's battery doesn't die again. I mean, Jesus, it's been two fucking years and it already fails?! Pfft. So much for Japanese workmanship... I had to reload all the data from the computer where it was backed up (thank Herr Gott), though now some of my settings are lost. Gaaaaah.
