Oh, yeah, it's ever so fashionable to bash IE 6.0 and the yet-unborn IE 7.0 and praise the end all and be all of the Internet, the majestic Firefox, but when it comes to accountability to facts and journalistic integrity, all we hear is haughty and unreasonable accusations (like those regarding non-compliance with a standard neither Mozilla or Opera are compliant with, yet).

Well, fuck you, Paul Thurott; fuck you and your cushy world of two-bit computer journalism that migrated from publications like Wired and CDN to the Internet. I'm tired of those glossy-cover, self-professed industry experts who somehow manage to find out about the latest and the greatest weeks after the Internet is abuzz with information about it; I'm sick of those all-expense-paid "gurus" running ad-choked websites, their opinion pieces fueled by free gifts, junkets and corporate patronage. In fact, I wonder whether we have an IT geek of a Harry Knowles variety on our hands now.

No, thanks. I'll take my news straight from the source, and places that care more about reporting facts rather than getting attention with outrageous claims.
