Happy 30th birthday, Microsoft. May your conquest of the universe be swift and painless. Speaking of which, the brand spankin' new beta of Hotmail looks even more like a cross between Gmail's pastels and Outlook 2003's interface, plus some crazy UI scripting coolness.
Wikimedia follows in the steps of Winamp, LiveJournal, MovableType and HowStuffWorks and is in the process of selling out Wikipedia - with the help of some nifty doublespeak in the key of "we're not selling out, we're just providing a service to 1-Click Answers that's selling us out" - while trying to "keep it real".
Not coincidentally, I am waging a personal jihad on those Wikipedia fascists now, for their goddamn hypocrisy, totalitarianism; you cross some arbitrary line of orthodoxy and you're labelled a "troll." Well, fuck them.
Anyway, Google is starting up another one of its crazy-ass projects, the RIAA still sucks donkey balls while trying to be cool too hard, and I discovered a nice, old-school-style Cyberpunk/RPG/quest game called Restricted Area.
Otherwise, I'm in midterm (and scheduling) hell and three projects behind schedule. Same shit, different day.
Double plus ungood. :P
One man's double minus is another's plus. ;) A door opens. I enter.
