Since I am anticipating a severe lack of fundaliage during the soon-to-come moving expenses, and whatnot else, I am post-dating this post a week into the future. Pretty funky, eh?
anyway, by the time you read this, I would've been signed on, hired, moved in, and gotten started at my new job at Wise Academy in Murai. For those wondering where the hell that is...it's a little hard to explain. Since Japan is growing so very, very fast, and villages, towns, and even cities, are continuously merging, Murai, from what I understand, is somewhere in Matsumoto-shi (which, in itself, was merged with some other place a few years ago, apparently), and very close to Shiojiri-shi, all of it located in the Nagano prefecture. For more information about the practice of Japanese municipality mergers, check out the following crazy shit:

In short, the company is like a big family; the pay is good; the apartment they showed me and I chose today is quite nice; everything is honest, clear and straightforward, and I start with Wise immediately after I finish with Peppy Kids Club (which I can't wait to do, by the way). Peppy is another reason why I post-dated this entry - so there would be no doubts as to my contractual obligations to either company; it's a clean finish and a clean start.
Having signed a paper that says I would neither disclose any Peppy secrets, nor defame the company, I have no words for my tender parting with Peppy Kids Club (here's a good example of purely-prudential censorship for you, MLP).
However, unrelated to any of the subject matter in the preceding paragraph, I would still like to quote a line from a classic film, Half-Baked: "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, and fuck you, I'm out!" ;) (The difference between you and I, dad, is that I just can't keep shit like this inside.) G. and J., thank you for everything; you were always cool to me. G., I still owe you that ¥400 (I'll try to drop by on October 2 to drop it off). 'Nuff said. The show must go on.
