Well, ladies and gentlemen, here is my very own, first Movable Type plugin! Let me lay down some info, now:
If you want your multilingual, Unicode text to display in HTML reliably, across different browser encoding settings, MT-UnEntity is for you. It will make sure that your Unicode characters are not displayed as gibberish un-entities. ;)

After installing MT-UnEntity, two new fields will appear below the Entry Body field, on the Edit Entry Movable Type page. Using these two fields, you will be able to convert your Unicode characters to HTML entities, without ever leaving Movable Type.

Basically, if you type something like "あ年ЭנТイтï" into the converter, it will output the following from the convenience of your Movable Type entry editor:
あ年ЭנТイ тï
'Nuff said! ;) MT-UnEntity v.1.0

P.S. Six Apart finally gave MT-UnEntity its own page in the plugin directory.
