Sony Vegas Video 7.x doesn't play nice with WinVista, unless a REG_MULTI_SZ key, called VDD, is created in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\
VirtualDeviceDrivers (line break inserted; see more on this issue here), WinAVI 8.0 refuses to work on WinVista outright and Skype is still working like the piece of shit that it has recently become. So it goes.

P.S. But wait! There are some exciting things happening! Windows Home Server has RC1d on bittorrent, here and here. Awesome.
