going to the moon was a complete waste of $$$

To Dylan Godwin

we should've brought some ampersands instead
the sexy semicolon
the interrobang
anything but the dollar signs
we should've known from experience
we should've trusted empiricism
but the fact remains
(and so do the remains
going to the moon was
a complete waste of money

interesting, but maybe I'm going blind or something (or did you do it on purpose??) but why do you have an open bracket without a close bracket?

Everything in literature is always on purpose (or, at the very least, I can prove it to be true, heh). Regardless, yes, I've been doing this for years, and, yes, it's a style thing (but I won't give away what it means just yet).

Interestingly, no one is complaining about a lack of capitalisation and punctuation, or the occasional made-up word. ;)

P.S. Mhumm. I thought about it a little and I decided that I also like this idea, of the poem not "compiling" because of a syntax error. Beautiful. ;)
